2025 United Way Grant Applications open now!

Our Grant Letter of Intent is now open for the 2025 Fall CIC Grant Cycle.

What We’re Looking For: We invite nonprofit organizations in Howard and Tipton Counties to apply for programs and/or projects that promote the Mission of United Way. This is an incredible opportunity to receive financial support for programs and projects that aim to make a positive impact in our community.

United Way Mission Statement: United Way Serving Howard and Tipton Counties brings our community together to provide advocacy, service, and giving opportunities to empower all people with health, education, and financial stability.

Grant Details:

  • Funding: Requested amount may NOT exceed 60% of the total cost of the

    program/project.

  • Eligibility & Guidelines:

    • All non-profits serving Howard and Tipton Counties are encouraged to apply.

    • No partial grant requests will be awarded.

    • No back-funding for programs/projects that occur prior to the announcement of awarded grants (September 2025).

    • If funding is awarded, nonprofit organizations are required to provide a report to United Way Serving Howard and Tipton Counties with updates of the program/project.

*More details regarding reporting will be included in grant agreements for awarded organizations.

  • Application Process: Visit howardandtiptonunitedway.org on or after June 11, 2025 to complete your Letter of Intent. The Letter of Intent will request details of your organization and a summary, total cost & requested funding for the program/project. After your Letter of Intent is reviewed, you will be contacted by United Way Director of Community Impact and Engagement, Morgan Quinn, with next steps.

    • Letter of Intent: June 11-20, 2025. Access Letter of Intent Here

    • Application: Open June 23, due by July 14, 2025 at 11:59pm.

    • Grant Recipients will be announced September 2025.
