2026 United Way Grant Applications - opening Summer 2026!

United Way of Howard & Tipton Counties is pleased to announce its 2026 Community Investment Grant cycle (CIC Grants) with applications expected to open Summer 2026 and grants to be awarded Fall 2026. Nonprofit organizations serving Howard and/or Tipton Counties are encouraged to submit applications for programs and projects aligned with United Way’s mission of empowering community members with health, education, and financial stability.

“As we look ahead to 2026, we are excited to renew our commitment to strengthening our community through strategic investments in local nonprofits,” said Morgan Quinn, CEO of United Way of Howard & Tipton Counties. “This grant cycle is a valuable opportunity to support programs that meet critical needs in our community.”

How to Apply
Applications will become available Summer 2026 and grants will be awarded Fall 2026. A Letter of Intent (LOI) will be required as the first step, asking for basic information about the organization, a summary of the proposed program/project, total cost, and the requested funding amount. Full applications will follow for selected LOI respondents. More details — including exact dates and submission instructions — will be shared at HowardAndTiptonUnitedWay.org in Spring 2026.

What We’re Looking For: We invite nonprofit organizations in Howard and Tipton Counties to apply for programs and/or projects that promote the Mission of United Way. This is an incredible opportunity to receive financial support for programs and projects that aim to make a positive impact in our community.

  • Eligibility & Guidelines:

    • All non-profits serving Howard and/or Tipton Counties are encouraged to apply.

    • No partial grant requests will be awarded.

    • No back-funding for programs/projects that occur prior to the announcement of awarded grants.

    • If funding is awarded, nonprofit organizations are required to provide reports to United Way of Howard and Tipton Counties with updates of the program/project.
