United Way of Howard and Tipton Counties is proud to offer free tax services to individuals and families whose annual household income is $89,000 or less. Last year, we served over 750 tax clients in Howard and Tipton Counties, saving over $800,000 in tax returns to invest back into our community.

Volunteers can serve in numerous ways with our seasonal tax prep program! Volunteer roles include: taxpayer educator, office support, tax preparer/quality reviewer, and site coordinator. View more details about these volunteer opportunities here.

No previous tax experience is needed and all training is provided free of charge. All volunteers are certified by the IRS.
